Q: How does it work?
A: Select - Swipe - Return.
Browse through the movies. Select the title you want to rent. Note the slot number listed on the right side of the DVD slot. Push the start button. Enter the slot number. Select Buy or Rent. Swipe your credit card and take your movie. To return a DVD, Push Return and place the DVD in the return slot.
Q: What are Promo Codes and how are they used?
A: A Promo Code is a discount on a movie rental. To use a Promo Code, Browse through the movies. Select the title you want to rent. Note the slot number listed on the right side of the DVD slot. Push the start button. Enter the slot number. Select Buy or Rent. Before you swipe your credit card you will see an option to enter a coupon code. Push the coupon code button and enter your code. Swipe your credit card and take your movie. The coupon code will be applied when you return the DVD back into the kiosk and the value of the coupon will be removed from you rental total.
Q: How do I get a Promo Code?
A: As a member of our Movie Club you will receive promo codes via email. Please sign up as a member of our Movie Club at our website, and this will add you to our mailing list. Website: http://newdvdnow.mydvdkiosks.com.
Q: How soon do you put new releases in the machines?
A. We try to stock the machines with new releases THE DAY they are released to the public - almost EVERY TUESDAY!! They may be in later in the day on Tuesday but we will try our best to get them in the machines ASAP!
Q: How long can I keep a movie out?
A: You can keep it out up to 14 days then if not returned the renter is charged whatever the sale price was listed for the movie.
Q: What will happen if I lose the movie?
A: If you lose a movie, please contact Customer Service at (330) 413-7325. Or email us at NewDVDNow@yahoo.com. For a lost movie, the credit card that you rented the movie with will be automatically charged the listed selling price on the 14th day the movie is checked out.
Q: How many movies can I rent at one time?
A: You may rent up to 4 movies at once!
Q: Can I request my favorite movie?
A: Yes, please email us at NewDVDnow@yahoo.com and we will do our best to fill your request!
Q: What do I do if the DVD I rented is scratched or does not work?
A: Please call Customer Service (330) 413-7325. You will not be charged. If you call after regular business hours, please leave your name and number and a customer service representative will call you back within 24 hours. Tip: DVDs can stop working if there is dirt or grease on the playing service. Most often, you can wipe the dirt or grease from the DVD and it will work again.
Q: is my credit card information safe? What type of security protects my credit card information?
A: We use the most secure method available for transactions and all communications use 128-bit encryption. Your credit card information is not stored on the kiosk computer system.
Q: Does the kiosk issue receipts?
A: The kiosk does not issue receipts, but you can download a receipt from our website: http://newdvdnow..mydvkiosks.com.
Q: How do I get a reciept?
A: Look on the left side of your computer screen. In the "Members" box you will see a link for "Quick Receipt." Just click on those words and you'll be taken to the receipt screen. Fill in the requested information and your reciept will show up on the screen where you can view it or print it.
Q. Can I see what movies are available on-line?
A. YES! Simply click on the machine location you would like to check and this site will show you "real time" what movies are available at any time of the day - 24/7.
Q. How late can I return the movies without getting charged for another day?
A. Now 8:00 P.M. at all locations!
